What is osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a “whole person” approach to health that looks at how the body’s systems are interrelated.  With the understanding that traumas are remembered in the connective tissues, Osteopaths use their hands to normalize tensions and mobility, and thereby release the body to heal itself.

Conditions treated

Problems Dr. Kobernik has had success in improving or resolving include tension headaches, migraines, scoliosis, low back pain, sciatica, neck pain, whiplash injuries, temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ), poor feeding in the newborn, recurrent sinus infections, torticollis in infants and adults, pelvic pain, shoulder pain, and wrist pain.

I have had the great pleasure to be able to confidently refer my patients to Tim for treatment.  Two examples - a professional golfer with chronic low back pain, and a woman with severe shoulder pain - both were thrilled with their improvement after working with Tim.  I personally have seen him as well, he was able to help me with some back and rib pain after a bad fall.  Tim is very skilled, intuitive, and has an incredible ability to put patients at ease with his calming presence.
